Lotus feet tips🌺

Fill up a basin with warm water and stop 2 tbsp of OCN chamba lavender or kannauj rose bath salts in it. Let it stand for about so minutes to allow the essential oils and herbs to seep in and dip both feet.
Read a favourite book or catch up with tea for 30 minutes

The salts will cause reverse osmosis sucking the toxins and water out while the oils nourish.

Scrub your feet with some more salt mixed with OCN almond oil and rinse with rose water to get rid of all dead skin .

Lather on the OCN cocoa and shea butter to finish up and own the most beautiful feel possible.

Correct Product usage guide

Correct finger usage for product application can really enhance the facial features, bringing out the best results.

For Eyes – The skin around the eyes is the most sensitive, thus using the ring finger exerts optimum pressure. Put 3-4 drops of Under Eye Serum on the tip of the Ring Finger. Start making circles from the outer corner of the eyes, to the centre of the lower eyelid, towards the tear ducts. Repeat for about 3-4 minutes. This motion will help avoid/correct sagging, puffiness, dark circles and crow’s feet. Gentle motions increase blood flow and ‘wake’ cell regeneration. If Serum gets fully absorbed, use some more product to avoid pulling the tender thin skin.

Lips – Again tender skin. Too much pressure may lead to cuts on dry lips. Use the little finger for applying balms or exfoliation.

Forehead – Use the index and mid fingers together while applying creams from the brows to the hairline in upward strokes. This movement firms the forehead and lifts the eyebrows.

Cheek – Again use the index and mid finger and apply serums & creams in firm upward strokes from the chin to the temples. Never down. This will prevent saggy skin around the jaws in the long run.

Chin – Use mid and ring finger to massage in horizontal strokes.

Neck & Décolleté – All four fingers to massage this area. Move in downward strokes from the lymphatic area behind the ears to the shoulder blades. This helps releasing the toxin build up. For the front of the neck, move the four fingers in firm upward strokes from décolleté to the chin. Never down.
Jaw – For eliminating/avoiding that double chin, regular 5 min massage helps toning & firming the skin. Make a fist and place chin between the first two knuckles. Now move the fist in pendulum motion from ear to ear.

Jojoba Essential Oil is a great Hair Serum

Organic hair serum anyone?

Your hair is usually subject to stress even with the normal styling and heating. Also when you color your hair, it comes in contact with harsh chemicals that can harm the hair over time. Moreover, the chemicals loaded shampoo, moisturizing hair products, styling solutions and hair sprays also make the hair dry and weak and prone to damage in the long term. So much so, even the simple brushing and blow drying your hair can cause hair breakage and worsening.

To undo the damage caused by such hair processes, you can apply a deep conditioning of hair in a natural way by using organic oils in your hair. Jojoba oil is one of the best oils to deal with dry, damaged hair and other problems, like dandruff, hair loss, etc. Jojoba oil acts as a good organic balancer. It is very useful for all types of hair, but is particularly good for dry, damaged hair, split ends and hair that is prone to tangling and damage. Jojoba oil is non-fatty and its properties are similar to hair serum, so it acts to keep your hair tangles free and well moisturized.
[23/09 11:45 am] Gigi Cel Dehra: Many of us are using Jojoba serum on face. Its a miracle beauty oil for face skin and hair care. Maybe a bit expensive to use on hair but since it has a very small molecular structure and is quite similar to human sebum….it penetrates deep into the scalp and nourishes. Once in a while you may massage a mix of jojoba and almond oil. For dry n frizzy hair… post wash you may take 2 to 3 drops on your palm and brush on throughout your hair length for a smooth look

Is Bleaching good for you?

Bleaching is best avoided. Its just an overdose of chemicals which often cause facial burns and cause stubborn pigmentation.

A natural lightning method is to make a paste with baby formula and rose water with a pinch of lemon juice.

Make it enough for one use and discard any leftovers. Use this as often as you need.

Lemon, Papaya and Tomato are some other excellent natural bleaches.. They lighten + brighten the skin in no time. Please be careful not to use them over cuts bruises and acne.

We need a mindset shift too. Why bleach to look fairer when the world is going gaga over the dusky India complexion?

Natural bleaching methods suggested above only bring out your true complexion… The beauty you were born to be😘

Why does one need natural products?

Quite a few patrons write to us daily and one of the biggest discussion point is our basket of products

You express your disbelief about a small range of products being able to solve a host of issues.. Reactions ranged from “are u sure?” To ” but what about my oily/dry/problem skin? Dont I need different products?”

How can a product off the shelf work for anyone who picks it up without a proper understanding of you lifestyle, medication history, age, allergies and stress factors? Just an MNC gimmick to sell you a plethora of products which don’t work and push u into a cycle of blind consumerism

The answer is No! You need just a few good products to improve and maintain you skin on a daily basis. Oily and dry skins are problems not conditions that need to be continued. They need to be cured and fixed instead of being given more products to continue the issues.please understand this clearly.

Think again before u pick up another tube or tub from your salon or pharmacy and douse yourselves with chemicals 🚫

Skin Type: A myth Debunked

Here’s a million dollar secret that the cosmetic/medical industry NEVER want you to find out.

You don’t have a skin type.

Yep, You have skin! Skin changes as you age, as the sun rises, as the season changes, as your hormones wax, as your hydration wanes, and because of a million other little things that affect your living, breathing, beautiful shell.

Over the years you’ve been asked (or told) by magazines, makeup artists, salespeople, etc., what type of skin you have – Dry? Normal? Combination? Oily? – as they try and diagnose what products you should use to “treat” your complexion. Here’s our take: forget all about that.

The problem is you’re labeled as “oily” when you’re 22, and then at 45 you’re still hitting up the oil-fighting aisle even though your skin might be dry as a desert, and thus unknowingly perpetuating the problem. Our recommendation is to not box yourself into a category, but pay attention to your skin on a daily basis, see what it needs, and adjust your products and lifestyle accordingly and over the long haul.

It is with this philosophy that Oilcraft Naturals approaches skin health. The key to our products is versatility (not to mention our unabashed reminders that an overall healthy lifestyle = healthier looking skin). Between the Hydrating Face Mists (Rose, Mogra & Panchpushp) and Essential Serums (Jojoba, Kumkumadi, Under Eye & Anti Acne) you can custom create whatever XYZ attention your skin is craving, be it a heavy hydration around the eyes overnight to give those fine lines TLC, or an airy layer of light moisturizer on a hot, humid day.

With this approach, you no longer need a cabinet full of products that purported to “attack” a specialty area (anti-aging! ultra-hydrating!) or rotate with the season – you can create exactly what your skin needs, right from our little black bottles. Here are some ways I personally use it on my 40-something skin:

3 pumps Face Mist + 2-3 drops Jojoba Serum = Suffice as a daytime moisturizer for face.

4 pumps Face Mist + 4 drops Kumkumadi Serum + Cocoa Shea Butter Crème = Work as a night time moisturizer for face, neck and décolleté

4 pumps hydrating Face Mist = anytime moisture pick-me-up for hot summers, for winter dryness, and for parched monsoon skin.

If you are experiencing “trouble” with your skin, before you typecast, I encourage you to take a holistic look at what might be happening – think about hormones, medication, diet, stress, sun exposure, climate, etc. Your skin doesn’t wake up one day shouting “drill, baby, drill” and start pumping out oil for the fun of it – so really staying in tune with your overall health and lifestyle will often provide guidance on how to get the best glow possible.

Not to mention, check the labels on your current products. Alcohol (found in most commercial toners) can dry out your skin and trigger even more oil production. Many daily exfoliating scrubs can damage your skin barrier and cause a backlash, while those thick facial lotions typically only serve to sit on top of your skin and clog pores causing pimples due to their petroleum oil content.

So, understanding what your skin needs right this moment vs. boxing in to a skin type will help you get that much-sought-after glow today, a month from now, and even a year from now if you continue to monitor and change your routine to follow what your skin is telling you.

DIY Organic Kohl

Fill some extra virgin castor oil in a small Pooja deep daani. Soak 2 threads in it. Cover the burning deep with a copper plate . Hold with tongs but don’t completely cover so that it goes off.
